Just South of Myrtle Beach is the architectural treasure known as Brookgreen Gardens. Its a must-see for anyone visiting the area and even includes a boat tour. The sculptures are finely done and wonderfully presented. Statuary abounds at every corner and pathway of the Gardens. Many of the statues are nudes and quite appealing. One gets the sense that a visitor in the 1920's would experience a visually erotic visit that was unobtainable elsewhere during that time in history.
